Early days

The American actress developed passion for acting in her childhood. Growing up in a Christian family, she began acting at age 9 in a church play based on the biblical Book of Jonah taking the role of a Ninevite prostitute. She would keep on participating in church plays as well as school musical events. At the age of 14 while on family vacation in New York, her talent was noted by a talent scout who organized for her auditions. Lawrence then signed with CESD Talent Agency.

Career start and breakthrough: 2006-2010
