The star journalist went to Anding’o Opanga Secondary School, in Nyanza province for his high school education. Subsequently, he enrolled in the University of Nairobi for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media studies from 2010 until 2013.

Journalism

Before kicking off his career in journalism, Trevor worked with DHL-Kenya as a stores clerk from 2006 to 2010. In 2012, while still studying at the university, he was recruited as an intern by China Global Television Network (CGTN).

In the wake of graduating in 2013, he got hired by Nation Media as a radio newscaster in Nation FM. The following year, he moved to their television station NTV as a senior presenter, taking the roles of news anchoring and moderating live interviews. During his five year tenure in NTV, he was as well given a chance work as an associate producer.

Nonetheless, in 2019, the talented journalist relocated to Royal media owned Citizen TV. Furthermore, he has been hugely instrumental in the success of Ramogi TV since its launch in November 2021.

Over the years, Trevor has developed to become a big name in media not just in Kenya but beyond.

Investments

Besides journalism, Trevor as enjoyed great success as an entrepreneur. He runs a multi-million sea food and jazz fashioned club, Samaki Samaki Club located in Kileleshwa, Nairobi.

In addition, he is a senior partner at Crestwood Marketing and Communications Limited. The Kileleshwa-based company deals with marketing, advertising, communication and public relations.
