Selena Gomez & the Scene- Band leader
While still developing her acting career, Gomez started recording soundtracks in 2008. Soon after, she founded a pop rock band, Selena Gomez & the Scene and signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records. With Gomez their lead singer, the band released three albums; Kiss &Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010) and When the Sun Goes Down (2011). Moreover, the band dropped seven singles.
