Angela Aguilar Alvarez is a noted Mexican-American singer of Mexican Regional and Latin pop music. Born in a music family, Angela began performing professionally at an early age just nine.
She acquired remarkable recognition following her performance at the 19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards held in 15 November 2018 in Las Vegas. Angela is one of the youngest artists to be nominated for both Grammy Awards and Latin Grammy Awards having being nominated for the later twice.

The music sensation began her career in 2012 at aged only nine releasing her debut album Nueva Tradicion together with her brother Leonardo. The album had eight songs; four by Angela and four by Leonardo. The following year, she released a Christmas collection titled Navidad con Angela Aguilar. She would accompany her father in tours as well as performing on radio and television.
In 2016, she took part in the BBC 100 Woman festival held in Mexico City and became the youngest performer at 13.
Angela released her debut solo album Primero Soy Mexicana, produced by her father Pepe on 2 March 2018. At the 2018 Premios Tu Mundo, she performed the album’s single Tu Sangre en Mi Cuerpo. On 20 September 2018, at the 19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, she was nominated for the Best New Artist while her album Primera So Mexicana got nominated for Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album. Subsequently, on 7 December 2018 the album was nominated for the Grammy Awards for the Best Regional Mexican Music Album.
Following her extraordinary talent and performances, Mexican-American star received three nominations for the 2019 Premios Juventud awards on 21 May 2019. On 23 July 2019, Angela released her first English record, an exclusive cover performance for Lady Gaga’s song Shallow.
Aguilar released a tribute album titled Baila Esta Cumbia dedicated to Selena, an American singer on 31 January 2020.
On 1 April 2021 she released first single En Realidad from her third studio album. The full-length album titled Mexicana Enamorada released on 24 September 2021.
In 2023, she released her second EP Celebrando a Mexico. It had which had six tracks including two songs each by her father Pepe and brother Leonardo.
