Daniel Balderrama Espinoza popularly known by his stage name DannyLux is an American singer and songwriter. He is noted for his song Jugaste y Sufri done together with Eslabon Armado. It is through this song that he gained fame to become one of the greatest new talents in the regional Mexican genre. Besides vocals Balderrama is an extremely gifted guitarist.
The curly-haired artist is also a celebrated TiktTok content creator and social media personality. He currently has over 2 million followers in his TikTok and Instagram accounts.

Early life
While Daniel was about six, his father Oscar then a waste truck driver one day by chance found a disposed guitar which he took home to his son. The young Daniel would practice playing variety of songs by himself. Upon noticing his passion in music, his mother impelled him to join the church choir. This served as an opportunity to enhance his vocal and guitar talents.
Music career
In 2020, Balderrama began uploading cover videos on his TikTok acquiring millions of views. This inspired him to make original songs which he posted as videos hence gaining more views. His talent won the attention of Eslabon Armado band leader Pedro Tovar after Daniel had covered their song Dame Tu Calor. Danny was presented with an opportunity to work the California-based regional Mexican group and soon after they together recorded a song Jugaste y Sufri . The songs music video hit over two hundred million views in only four years.
Danny dropped his debut album Las Dos Caras del Amor on 15 January 2021 followed his debut EP Love</3 on 29 April. On October same year, he topped the Billboard Songwriters & Producers chart for three weeks in a row. He released his second studio album Perdido en Ti on 28 January 2022 with the album ranking as the number one Latin album in Apple Music. On 2 September, he released his third album Limerencia.
Balderrama performed in the Coachella 2023 in April and received his hometown city keys on 20 June 2023. He released his fourth album DLUX dropped in August and in October announced his Ambicion Tour cross 11 cities in the East Coast and Midwest USA. He dropped his fifth album EVOLUXION on 1 March 2024.
