Betty got married in October 2015 to the then love of life and fellow media personality Dennis Okari in a wedding ceremony that was attended by only close relatives and friends. Unfortunately the marriage did not last long and the two lovebirds parted ways only a few months after wedding.
Months afterwards, Betty was rumored to be dating the then Mombasa County governor, Ali Hassan Joho but separated due to unknown reasons.

Kyalo first joined Standard Media Group’s KTN as an intern and soon after employed as a news anchor. She would later relocate to K24 before quitting in 2020 to venture into business.
Betty returned to television on May 2024 hosting TV47’s 9 p.m. show “This Friday with Betty”.
Enterprises
Betty is a successful entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of a salon and spa in Nairobi, Kilimani called Flair by Betty . She also owns another enterprise After Shave by Flair Barbershop and a cloth line named BK Closet launched in 2021.
