Harvey Daniel James Elliot is a gifted English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a right winger. He plays for English Premier League side Liverpool and the England national team.

Elliot is renowned for playing with immerse bravery and confidence and is never scared of taking on defenders. He is superb with the ball at his feet and an excellent dribbler. He is capable of producing magic moments at anytime of the game. The youngster is as well magnificent in long range passes and shots. Harvey Elliot Club Career

Elliot had passion for football since he was very young and is a Liverpool lifelong fan. He first enrolled at the Queens Park Rangers youth development program at a tender age.

Fulham

He later on signed for Fulham U18 academy team. Given his outstanding prowess at that early age, Elliot debuted for the Fulham first-team in the EFL Cup third round 3-1 away win against Millwall. The youngster came on as a substitute in the 81st minute to become the club’s youngest ever first-team player and the EFL’s youngest player in history at 15 years and 174 days.

Elliot made his Premier League debut on 4 May 2019 coming on as a substitute in the 88th minute in a 1-0 away loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers. He consequently became the then youngest EPL player with 16 years and 30 days.

Liverpool

2019-20: First season with the Reds

The English sensation signed for Liverpool on 28 July 2019. He debuted for the Merseyside club in a EFL encounter against MK Dons on 25 September aged 16 years and 174 days. Consequently, he became the club’s youngest starter ever and the second youngest to play in a competitive match for Liverpool. His first Premier feature was on 2 January 2020 coming on as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Sheffield United.

Harvey was part of the Liverpool team that won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup in 2019.

2020-21: First professional contract and loan to Blackburn Rovers

On 6 July 2020, Elliot signed his first professional contract with the Reds. In pursuit for regular playtime, the youngster was loaned to Blackburn Rovers for the 2020-21 season. His prominent performance at the Championship club earned him a nomination for the EFL Young Player of the Season award. Harvey scored seven goals for Blackburn and his goal against Millwall in December 2020 was voted the club’s Goal of the season.

2021-22: Maiden trophies and Champions League football

Elliot returned to Merseyside in May 2021 and in July same year signed a long-term commitment to the club. 0n 21 August he made a full Premier League debut in a 2-1 victory over Burney. The rising star progress had a setback when he suffered an injury on 12 September in a EPL match against Leeds United. He returned to action on 6 February 2022 coming on in the 58th minute of a FA fourth round tie against Cardiff City and scoring his maiden Liverpool goal as the Reds won 3-1.

Harvey debuted in the UEFA Champions League as when he started against Inter Milan in the round of 16 on 16 February. He completed his first season with his beloved club by winning the EFL and FA Cup. They also finished second place in the Premier League and the runners-up in the Champions League.

2022-present: A consummate footballer

The gifted Englishman scored his debut Premier League goal on 27 August 2022 in a 9-0 thrashing over AFC Bournemouth. His maiden Champions League goal came only a few weeks later on 12 October in a 7-1 victory against Rangers followed by a second two weeks later in a 3-0 away win at Ajax. The youthful star was in the Liverpool team which won the 2022 FA Community Shield against Manchester City.

The Chertsey-born midfielder has already developed into a full package and has now established himself as a regular first team figure. He played a magnificent role in helping Liverpool win the EFL Cup for the season 2023-24.

Harvey Elliot International Career

Elliot has frequently represented England at the Youth levels. He was first called-up to the England U17 in October 2018. The English talent scored his maiden goal in national colours in November against the Republic of Ireland. He as well played a key role in England U17 winning the Syrenka Cup in 2019.

On 25 March 2022, he made his England U21 debut in a 4-1 home victory over Andorra in the 2023 U21 EURO qualifiers. He was in the England squad that won the 2023 UEFA European U21 Championship.
